Wing Gundam Zero

Wing Gundam Zero, one of the most recognizable Gundam from the Gundam Wing franchise, aside from the famous Wing Zero Custom (famously known for his angel like wings).

After years of looking and really looking for a 1/100 scale version, I was able to find and buy one last week! It would have been better though if I was able to find a Master Grade edition, but the High Grade edition has proven to be a good kit too.

Here are some of its pics holding the twin buster gun rifle. (All photos are taken using an iPod touch 4g which is why the picture quality is kinda mediocre).

I really like how they were able to emphasize more on the details of the Wing Gundam Zero’s parts and armaments.

First off, the close-able air duct looks really good since it reveals the gold plating exhaust near the cock pit. Second, the shoulder vernier which is also close-able, gives it an edgy look. It happens to also reveal the mini booster and the white plating where the Gundam usually draws its beam saber. They have also added the two mini Gatling-guns near his head.

All of these added armaments/parts are not available in the smaller 1/144 scale model of this Gundam, so it was a really nice addition for this 1/100 High Grade model.

Lastly, the ever famous neo-bird mode of the Wing Gundam Zero.

It is always awesome when a Gundam can morph into another form, which in this case is the neo-bird mode. The way that you can split the twin buster rifle and put it to the shield and make it spread its wings is just an eyegasmic sight.

What’s good with this is that the details on the neo-bird mode was not just captured on the front portion of the Gundam, but also in the back end. See pic below.

As you can see, they ensured that its legs are transformable into the booster mode, which is just exactly the same as what we can see in the Anime series episodes.

With all the superior details that they were able to capture in this model, I can say that this 1/100 HG scale version of Wing Gundam Zero has been a good buy too.

Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Collection

What do you do when you got a 1 floor office table shelf free space? Put ALL the Gundams :meme:

Apologies if the picture is a bit shabby, these was all taken using an iPod 4g (which has a very bad camera pixel by the way). I actually put a bit of thinking before displaying it in my own space in the office. Most of these Gundams has been really just kept inside their boxes as I have no place to display them in my condo. And most of my time (8-10 hours) is spent in the office so might as well put it there and so I did.

So there. Enjoy. Cheers to all you Gundam Wing and Gundam fans out there. Peace out.

Gundam Shin Musha

I have been wondering as to what Master Grade Gundam should I buy. I really did a lot of thinking before deciding my purchase, since this would be the very first MG Gundam that I will buy. The first one that caught my eye is Epyon, I really like the MG release since I already owned an HG version of it. But when I saw Shin Musha, I told myself this would be it. I had a hard time finding it here in the Philippines! Luckily a friend of mine is residing in Japan and I took the opportunity by asking her to buy me one. She came home this August and I got it just last week!

I have been very excited to assemble it! And man!, MG really has a lot of parts as it is very very detailed. I am used to building HG kits so this one is really quite an experience for me. After an aggregate of 10 hours within 3 days ( I savored on the “building” part)  I finished assembling the MG kit. Here are some photos:

I really like how Shin Musha really resembles a Samurai / Bushido. The Armor in his arms and shoulder makes it look like he is wearing Samurai Warrior Suit. I love how the Katana looks, specially that it also has the sword case. The Trident and Spear looks really nice too. The Gun was a bit out of place, I think, but when I saw that it looks like an old school shotgun it made sense. The nice thing about this Gundam is that he can put all of his armaments in him (back part). Unlike other Gundams wherein you have to choose what armaments are they going to hold/carry. All I can say is that Master Grades kits are very detailed and good looking. I am very happy with this Purchase. Looking forward to be able to buy more MG’s in the future.

Gundam Deathscythe D- Hell Custom

Gundam Deathscythe D- Hell Custom (Endless Waltz)

One of the best bad ass looking Gundam ever created! I love the detail of the over sized scythe and the Bat like armor. Just looks like the Angel of Death as they dubbed it. I hope they develop an MG for this Gundam. Several MG’s has been out in the Market but it is a different version. The Ver.Ka.
